The Provincial Court of Granada has once again vindicated the residents of Carmenes del Mar by rejecting an appeal by the defendants against the sentence handed down over two years ago. On November 3rd 2014 the builders, engineers and architects involved in the construction of Carmenes del Mar were found to be responsible for the defects in the construction and were ordered to repair the urbanisations. Over two years later, the court of appeal has upheld that sentence. While this ruling is a vindication of the claims of the Carmenes del Mar home owners, they do not believe that the defendants will fulfill their responsibilities, and fully expect them to continue to delay and avoid carrying out the necessary repairs.
